We hope to establish a positive working relationship and bond with in the community that will create a warm, positive, productive and morally sound unification operating in love. We believe that Love and Faith are to active ingredients to the beginning of a better community.

Community relations is developing and facilitating the implementation of projects related to commitment and community relationships to our valued neighbor’s in the community that we serve. This requires close coordination and communication with our supporters, sponsors, and friends of the community of Santa Clarita. In addition,work successfully with representatives from various communities, organizations and neighborhoods with respect to the diverse populations and cultures, serves and seeks to serve. Skyhawks strive to achieve fulfillment of its community relations mission to the greatest extent practicable.

A Light of Hope Support Center
A Light of Hope (ALOH) provides support services for those who struggle with Drugs, Alcohol, Addiction, Eating Disorders, Sexual Abuse and related issues. We provide support groups, activities and counseling for youth, young adults and their families. A Light of Hope focuses on repairing and strengthening individual lives and the family as a whole, dealing with body, soul and spirit. A Light of Hope provides an environment that is Safe, Secure and Supportive, which helps people help themselves to become the healthy, balanced, effective and productive person they were created to be. A Light of Hope provides Alternative Peer Groups for individuals and their families and the needed tools to help families and individuals manage their own lives.

Child and Family Center
Helps children, adults and families reach their full potential for becoming caring and responsible individuals through counseling, education and support. Programs include outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, parent education, preschool daycare, and drug/alcohol treatment.

Grace Baptist Church
Grace Baptist provides a place to help people who are hurting in two different types of settings. You do not have to be a member of the church in order to receive these services.

Bridge to Home
Emergency Winter Shelter for single individuals and families. The shelter provides three meals each day, showers, safe warm sleeping arrangements and case management. Families (any person accompanied by a child 16 years old or younger) will be housed in a local hotel and have full access to all shelter services.

Healthy Lives Medical & Dental Services
While staying at the winter shelter (Nov-March), onsite Dental services are available to low income, homeless, or veterans. Services are offered the second Saturday of each month.
A free dental clinic is offered for Santa Clarita Valley homeless people, low income, and veterans on the second and third Saturday of each month. Call for details.
